Bio:
Mike Norman is a freelance writer and photographer who calls Oakland,
California home. He has been traveling the country and the world since the
age of 2, and that continues today. While attending Cornell University,
Mike was able to spend a semester living in Washington, D.C., and another
six months wandering through Western Europe, occasionally making it back
to London in time to take the odd exam for school. Mike has now explored
five continents, twenty-five U.S. States, and twenty-three countries, and
these include, Argentina,
Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, the Czech Republic, France,
Germany, Great Britain, Holland, Ireland,
Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico,
Norway, Portugal, New Zealand, South Africa, Switzerland, and Uruguay.
When he is not off traveling, Mike stays busy by promoting the 4 R's
(Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, & Rot) working for the City of Hayward,
California, and by running his own company,
CaliforniaGolfingAdventures.com.
