Nancy Koan is a writer and artist. As a poet, she is member of New York's Unbearables – Poetry Collective, and her work has appeared in their anthologies including "The Beats". She has written for UK's Snake Magazine, Crime Beat Magazine and LA's Saturday Afternoon Journal. As a performance artist, she starred and wrote some of the episodes of the radio series "Our Life Together Among the Works of Art"; acted in the films City News and Crimes and Misdemeanors and created performances off-Broadway at The Gas Station and the Cornelia Street Café. Her artwork has appeared in galleries in New York and London. Under the name Sui Generis, she writes and performs music. She has made three films with national distribution: "My Dinner With Abbie", "Which Witch" and "Malcolm McLaren - Not For Sale". She is currently developing a feature film called "McLevy's Ghost".
